We take a generalist approach. To understand the relationships between functional areas within manufacturing companies, over the years we deliberately chose not to specialize in a particular functional area. In doing so, we better understood the positions we filled by understanding how they fit within the organization as a whole. The openings we filled were interrelated to other areas too.
